Body: Orange Sparkle Yarn(two strands) palmared with Black Hackle

Under Wing: Hot Orange and Pearl Krystal Flash

Over Wing: Black Sparkle Yarn brushed out(two strands)

Legs: Black Barred Orange Rubber- Medium

Thorax: Orange Sparkle Yarn dubbed then palmared with Orange Grizzly Hackle

Head: Danville 6/0 Orange Thread Waxed

Body: Rusty Turkey Biot Quill or Rusty Turkey Biot

Wing: 3X Fluorocarbon

Thorax: Rusty CDC(Twisted and wound around wings)

Legs: Rusty CDC (Untwisted portion of thorax feather)

Note: For thorax and legs, tie in CDC feather by tip at the end of the body. Use hackle pliers to grasp feather stem. Twist then wind around wing base to form thorax. Stop twisting and take a final wrap or two and tie off behind eye of hook. The loose barbs will form the legs. Adjust as needed.

Tail/Shuck: Rusty Antron Yarn or Rusty Wapsi Super Bright Dubbing

Body: Rusty Wapsi Super Bright Dubbing

Rib: Small copper wire

Thorax: Rusty Wapsi Super Bright Dubbing or CDC, color to match the emerging adult

Wing: FNP-3X Fluorocarbon with Nail Polish (Silver Glitter) tinted with permanent ink marker.

Legs: Brown Partridge or CDC, color to match the emerging adult.

Note: CDC legs and thorax are formed by tying in the CDC feather by the tip and winding a few turns to form legs then tie off feather capturing as many barbs as possible with the thread then twist the CDC feather and wrap several turns to form the thorax and some legs. Pick legs out if necessary.
